11/3/09 There is not much to do in class today unless you have access to the wood, glue, and blades, to begin familiarizing yourself with good building techniques.
States 2009:
The winning bridge at states had an efficiency of about 1,800:1.

I was just looking at the Science Olympiad website. I found that it has a lot of new links that weren't there last year. There is a journal made by a "former competitor" that is on there. They have also added a "commentary" that tells you exactly what to expect at the competition. It would have been helpful to have before our first competition last year.
